ACCESSIBILITY

Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD aspire to be a democratic and cultural platform that is accessible to all youth. Our goal is to create an accessible and easy to survey festival site, where all young people have the same opportunity to participate. To make sure our goal becomes reality, we have developed an accessibility policy based on clear information, mutual respect and understanding as well as equality.

We encourage all festival participants and participating organizations to contribute to a festival where everyone feels welcome.

FIND YOUR WAY

Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD is held underneath Bispeengbuen at a location called URBAN 13. The festival site is open for all and can be accessed from Fasanvej, Ågade and Bispeengen. The main entrance is located towards Fasanvej/Bispeengen. Bispeengen will be locked down during the festival and cannot be accessed by cars. A designated drop-off spot can be found close to the main entrance, where Bispeengen connects with Fasanvej.

All entrances at Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD are either equipped with ramps or are level-free.

To make sure everyone can find their way at the festival site, all areas are color coordinated. The theme areas of the festival will be lighted up with colored spotlights and clear signs will be used to let you know which area you are in. In addition, maps of the location will be set up around the festival site.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

There are many ways to travel with public transportation to and from Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD. You can find the best travel route for you using Google Maps or the Danish travel planer app Rejseplanen. If you are travelling with the metro, the closest station to the festival is Nuuks Plads. Between Nuuks Plads and URBAN 13, there is a ten minutes’ walk. The closest S-train station is Fuglebakken which is also a ten minutes’ walk from the festival location. The closest bus stops are located on Nodre Fasanvej (Borups Allé).

INFORMATION

If you have any questions while participating in Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD, you can contact the staff in our information stall. The information stall can be found by the festival’s main entrance. You can also direct your questions to the information staff circulating the festival site. The circulating information staff will be dressed in orange vests, and they can help you find your way and answer your questions.

SECURITY

Security personnel from Roskilde Festival Experience will be present at the festival site to make sure everyone always feels safe. You are always welcome to contact the festival staff or the staff from Roskilde Festival Experience if you are in need of help. The festival staff is dressed in beige sweatshirts with the Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD symbol on the chest.

PARKING

The festival’s handicap parking can be found at the end of the festival site towards the road Borups Allé. The parking spot is on cobblestone, and it is directly connected to the festival site. The parking space can only be accessed from Ågade.

PODIUMS

There are no podiums at Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD but there are designate areas for wheelchair users at all stages. These areas are marked on the ground with orange spray paint.

TOILETS

There are standard toilets and handicap toilets at the festival site. All toilets are either on ground level or are equipped with ramps. The toilets will be clearly marked on the map over the festival site.

FLOORS

The ground at the festival site is a mixture of cobblestone, and asphalt. Floors will be put out on the ground of the festival site to create trails over the cobblestone. The floor is one meter wide, and it can be used by wheelchair users.

RAMPS

There are ramps in all theme areas and by all stages. The exact location of the ramps can be seen on the map over the festival site.

TIMEOUT AREAS

If you need a break at Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD, you can always visit our timeout area. This is a smoke free lounge area where you can get a break from the activities at the festival. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend you bring noise cancelling headphones or earplugs.
