SUSTAINABILITY
When arranging Ungdommens Folkemøde NORD, we try to make sure we don’t waste our planet’s resources. For us this means having a strict no handout of flyers, candy, or merch policy for the participating organizations. We want focus to be on participation and not on free stuff that most likely will end up in the trash bin.
We are only inviting vegetarian/vegan food trucks to be a part of the festival and we are making sure no beverages are sold in disposable plastic cups. When buying a beverages at the festival, you can therefore expect is to be sold in a recyclable can or a reusable cup. All cans are of course properly recycled after the festival.
